How do I keep informed of the process?
ALA Services uses shared Google documents with descriptions of each billed services such as time spent creating job posting content, applicant filtering, pre-screening calls, setting interview appointments, conducting interviews, and training, so that business owners see what they are being billed for before they are invoiced.
When will I be invoiced?
Typically invoices are sent monthly once the recommendations of top candidates are submitted to the business owner and the top candidate is hired.
If additional training for the new hire is needed, then depending on the time the training is conducted, this service will be added to the previous invoice or a new invoice will be sent out once the training is completed.

How long does it typically take to hire someone?
It takes approximately 10 hours to find someone. It does depend on the specific position the business owner is trying to fill, however.
The specifics are always discussed at the initial consultation. ALA Services is dedicated to each client, so the time frame in getting the right person hired is typically 3 weeks.
This includes the time it takes to have the initial consultation to create a hiring game plan, create a job post, filter applicants, interview and do reference checks.
What if the person doesn't work out?
ALA Services does it's best to find the right person to match the culture of your business. However, we don't ever know until the employee actually steps into the job as to whether it will work out.
ALA Services recommends a probationary hiring period of anywhere from 30-60 days. If it does not work out, ALA Services will help you find someone else at a negotiated rate on an individual, and case-to-case basis.
Will I get to meet with the candidates before I hire them?
As part of ALA Services' process, once the top candidates are submitted to the business owner, ALA Services sits in on a final interview with each top recommended candidate and the business owner BEFORE they are even hired.
ALA Services consults with the business owner once the final interviews are conducted and helps to choose the candidate to hire based on interactions and feedback. It is ultimately the business owners' decision on who they feel is the best fit and the person they choose to hire.
